Ross Weidman This is the album that got me into country music. Theo is putting on the perfect show of throwback Texas/Louisiana country, but he's not a novelty act. His storytelling and musicianship are first class, and he knows how to write a hook. Favorite track: Petit Coeur.

Lucas Stolee I have a friend Kale, all he listens to is country music. Radio, top 100 country music. He's a shallow man who only likes skinny women and drinking. That's it, that's all there is to him.

I showed him this album as an example of good country music, he didnt think it was "country" enough. This, despite how it sounds, is a testament to how good this album is because Kale has shit tastes. Favorite track: Prairie Fire.
